At Else Retreat Hotel in the Lee Rubber Building on Jalan Tun H. S. Lee, the guest-room flooring uses solid white oak laid in herringbone.

The lounge and meeting room use solid walnut in the same pattern. The published specification describes two-inch-wide timber flooring and records completion in 2022.
