Through the Malaysian Timber Council’s programme, ME Floor collaborated with Dexter Koh Architects and Ben Phua on wooden structures and modular products using repurposed timber. The published projects include Kayu-Mu and SLATS+.

HOMEDEC 2024 at KLCC

ME Floor participated with the Malaysian Timber Industry Board at HOMEDEC in KLCC, presenting timber flooring to homeowners and retail buyers. Our published event record notes that flooring projects followed from the exhibition.

Architectural & Design Specifier Market (ADSM)

ME Floor took part in ADSM 2024 through the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers’ industry network, connecting with architects and designers discussing ongoing and upcoming flooring requirements.

The company’s Certificate of Appreciation records participation as a Building Product Specialist at the 5-6 June 2024 event in Kuala Lumpur.

WISDEC: loose furniture fabrication

Training archive

Three ME Floor delegates attended a WISDEC course covering the planning and fabrication of loose furniture. The published account describes material preparation, cutting to size, adhesive preparation, assembly and touch-up work.

This entry concerns loose furniture. It is distinct from the epoxy-furniture training also recorded in the company archive.

Three ME Floor delegates also participated in epoxy-furniture training at WISDEC’s Banting facility, working with Merbau and Chengal timber blocks. The course expanded the team’s practical experience with timber in furniture applications.
